According to Residence Hall Offices, the university does not recommend or encourage students to stay over the break. Security will be an issue because there won't be any. Students are responsible or their personal safety. Guests are also not permitted in the halls during the break.
It is important, that if you do stay, make sure all exterior doors are locked at all times. If you have any particular possessions that are important, keep them with you at all times.
