Tuesday night, more than 60 student residents participated in what is known as an "Undie Run". Students gathered around 7:15 p.m. in Lot 14, by Parkside Commons, and anxiously waited in their under garments.
Rion Angeles, student and one of the people who helped organize the event, mentioned, "The purpose of Undie Run is to create a sense of community for those living on campus, especially since this CSU is known to be a commuter school."
Being a participant myself, I saw that students were really excited to participate and cheered each other on every time a brave soul stepped up and decided to join. The run went from Parkside Commons all the way to the Library and ended back into Lot 16 to take pictures.
Angeles, commented that the event was a success but that he expected more people, "If this campus had a larger on campus community, I'm sure the event would [have more participants] and would [eventually] turn into an annual ritual."
